We formally welcomed this year’s students to the Diploma in Rudolf Steiner Education through a traditional Powhiri. The class of 2012 has 16 students from all across New Zealand, Australia and a good selection from the rest of the world.
The Powhiri included a Maori welcome from the Kaumatua, a response from Brian, a song from both staff and students, polished off with afternoon tea.
The students are now hard at work in the classroom as they begin their journey to become teachers.
