Doll Making

A handmade doll is a special gift for the child who receives it,
and for the maker!

At this workshop you will learn to make your own doll from recycled garments and stuffed with sheep’s wool, that will ‘beg’ to be held and cuddled! You will also receive handouts and patterns so that you can make your doll a brother or sister in your own time at home. Your doll will fit newborn-sized clothing, so please feel free to bring these along if you would like to take her or him home warmly dressed for winter.

Putting heart and soul into adult education

"Imagination is what lets us try out and possibly fulfil anything we set out to do".  - the minimal details of the dolls expression encourage and nurture the developing childs imagination.

Soft, fluffy and cuddly dolls, lovingly handmade easily become precious and appreciated by children.

"The gift of the doll is the ability to encourage and bring out the caring and nurturing developments
of children."
