Natural Home Nursing
This is a course for parents & caregivers to learn how to make and use herbal compresses, inhalations and teas to confidently nurse sick children at home in a practical and natural way.
Parents & caregivers will gain a better understanding of child development and an ability to recognise and support their child’s individual needs when sick.
Each lesson will have a knowledge sharing and practical component.
Tutors: Anthroposophical nurses Kristina Friedlander & Michelle Vette
Natural Home Nursing will cover the following:

Fever – what is it all about? How do we work with is as parents?

Pictures of childhood illnesses
-
Caring for flus, colds and coughs, how to support the immune system

Care for sore throats, sinus and sore ears
-
Acute stomach upsets, diarrhoea, vomiting constipation and worms
-
First Aid – What Weleda preparations have to offer and how to use them
2010 Dates and Fees:
3 Tuesday mornings, 8.30am - 1pm at Taruna October 19th, 26th & November 2nd
$125 - the fee includes morning tea and materials.
