"The Prepmaker’s Year"

- Making and Understanding the Biodynamic Preparations  2010

An exciting course for those wishing to deepen their work with biodynamics, offered by Rachel Pomeroy and Peter Proctor in three five-day workshops. 

 

Spring Seminar (Friday 24th – Sunday 26th September, 2010)

Friday  7pm:  Stargazing, meet at Taruna car park to go up Te Mata Peak

Saturday 9am – 4pm: 
Preparation Lifting and Storage, meet at Weleda Gardens
Make BD 501, Cow Horn Silica preparation   
The biodynamic preparations, which were buried at Weleda Gardens at the first seminar, in May 2010, will be lifted and stored appropriately.
• BD 500, the Cow Horn Manure preparation
• BD 502, Yarrow preparation
• BD 503, Chamomile preparation
• BD 505, Oak bark preparation from the water barrel
• BD 506, Dandelion preparation
• Make BD 501, grind quartz crystal, fill horns and bury


Saturday   7pm  Stargazing, meet at Taruna car park

Sunday  9am – 1pm Planting Calendar, meet at Taruna,
• Astronomy and Seasonal Rhythms, especially as they relate to timing of preparation making
•  Use of the Biodynamic Planting Calendar


Cost Registration Fee for this seminar is $180, payable to Taruna College, PO Box 8103, Havelock North.

Morning Teas are provided but you will need to supply your own lunch. 

Summer Seminar (November 27th and 28th, 2010)

This third workshop includes growing preparation plants, harvesting, drying and storage of dry material for autumn prepmaking, making BD 507 from fresh valerian flowers, making BD 502 yarrow preparation, making Equisetum tea, observing form and growth of preparation plants as a key to plant qualities, evening star viewing.

This course is designed to be taken as a whole but may be taken as individual seminars (Availability of individual seminars dependent on numbers)

Individual workshop Fees:      $180                               

Venue:  Taruna, Te Mata Peak Rd, Havelock North
