Taruna College New Zealand is a centre for Adult Education offering an exciting range of formal and informal holistic courses and subjects inspired by the work of Rudolf Steiner PhD. such as: Waldorf Teacher Education, Biodynamic Organic Agriculture, Anthroposophical Nursing, Art of Health and Coaching and Biography Workshops.

 

   Certificate in Rudolf Steiner Education

Are you a:

• Teacher interested in finding out about Rudolf Steiner Education (also known as Waldorf Education) and/or preparing to become a Rudolf Steiner School teacher

• University graduate of other disciplines interested in a career in Rudolf Steiner Waldorf Education

• Person who is interested in Steiner education, but who is not a trained teacher, such as:

  • working with children
  • planning to train as a teacher in the future
  • Parents interested in understanding children's growth and developmental challenges and how to meet and support these events

The Certificate in Rudolf Steiner Education is a life-changing programme that will take you on a unique journey that will transform your understanding of childhood development and education. 

This programme will provide you with a foundation in Rudolf Steiner Education and is a pre-service pathway to becoming a Rudolf Steiner teacher.  It combines theory, art and science with practical skills.

This one-year seminar and distance programme is ideally suited for people actively involved in teaching or caring for children, and who are not able to undertake full-time study.
