In this programme students will:
- Explore and understand human biography and the stages of child development as a process of incarnation.
- Through exercises develop observational skills.
- Explore the qualities and techniques from a range of arts such as:
• Painting • Modelling • Music • Eurythmy • Bothmer Gymnastics • Creative writing • Drawing • Storytelling and Creative Speech

Classroom Teaching The seminars will include:
- Workshops
- Small group processes
- Lectures & discussions
- Artistic experience through a variety of media
- Exploration through movement
Self-Directed Study
Students should be able to commit to between 5 - 8 hours per week for this home based study. During the periods between the on-campus seminar students will be set a variety of self-directed activities and projects including:
- Artistic exercises, recording observations & processes
- Contemporary issues investigation – extending seminar learning
- Course related assignments including short research projects & essays
Materials Most art materials and equipment required for the on-campus seminars will be provided by Taruna. Upon acceptance into this programme, students will be responsible for the purchase of art and study materials required for the home-based study (a list of requirements will be provided in the Programme Handbook).
