Courses that can change the course of your life.
September 2010

What better way to feel revived and alive than a good white frosty morning!!  Winter is with us, but in true Hawkes Bay style, we are still being treated to the odd warm sunny day.  There have been some amazing serene mists and fogs here high up Te Mata Peak.. sights that need to be seen to be believed!

The focus for this e-newsletter is the Incarnating Child.  This e-newsletter showcases our  two short courses in July and August, both relating to early childhood. Doll Making and Natural Home Nursing.  More parents and caregivers are informing themselves on natural alternatives for their children, and this has seen the Natural Home Nursing course sell out!  We are still taking registrations of interest for another possible intake, so please dont be dismayed.   To complete our focus on the incarnating child we have a profile of Lizzie Freeman, a student completing the NZ Steiner Certifictae (Early Childhood) and also a profile of Edith van der Meer, the programme director of that programme.

And finally, a small gift from us to you! Please click for a few delicious winter-warming herbal tea recipes which you and your family can enjoy through these darker colder months.

happy hibernation days, Korina

 Research into Resilience

an article by Christof Wiechert

The question is how does an individual cope with traumatic or otherwise shattering events in his or her life.  This question is just as valid for children as for adults.  However, resilience is definitely connected with the experiences of the early years of childhood.  ..>>click here to read more.
