The Hummingbird Principle: Seven lenses for becoming more human
“All journeys have secret destinations of which the traveler is unaware.” -Martin Buber
As we move through daily life, the companions of overwhelm, disconnection, and confusion are always close at hand. Where can we find the levity that is the counterpoint to all of this heaviness? Through biography work, we have the freedom to look at our lives from different standpoints, unveiling the hidden patterns and themes that make us who we are. Suddenly, we find ourselves curious to look more closely at both the heavy and light aspects of life. This workshop is an invitation to embark on an intensive journey of self-discovery. As we move through these three days, we will begin to release our overwhelm by letting go of what does not belong to us. We will connect deeply with ourselves and one another. And in the safety of the unknown, clarity can begin to emerge from the confusion. To orient ourselves on this journey, we will introduce the Hummingbird Principle, which reveals how small changes can serve the greater, encouraging you to unveil what you can do and take action. It invites you to take new interest in your life and the story you are creating, emphasizing the power of questions over answers in the process of becoming more human. With the help of the temperaments, the seven planetary forces, and everyday life experiences, we will lead you through an immersive and interactive workshop. Curious? Sign up and be open to the secret destination.
These three days will give opportunity for a deep dive into the Humming Bird principle, as you work together with like-minded others. There will also be:
